Monty Ross is a distinguished film and television consultant with 35 years of experience as an actor, producer, and director. His production experience spans from studio features to independent productions shot in diverse locations worldwide. Monty attended Clark College (Clark Atlanta University) and starred in Spike Lee’s award-winning thesis film, Joe’s Bed-Stuy Barbershop: We Cut Heads. He transitioned from acting to production supervision, managing day-to-day operations for Spike Lee’s indie blockbuster film, She’s Gotta Have It. Monty was promoted to Vice-President of Production at 40 Acres and a Mule Filmworks, Inc., co-founded with Spike Lee. As part of Spike’s team, Monty contributed to iconic films such as School Daze, Do The Right Thing, Mo' Better Blues, Jungle Fever, Malcolm X, Crooklyn, and Clockers.
With a combined gross of over $300 million from projects produced for Universal, Columbia, Paramount, Warner Brothers, Geffen Records, and Nike, Monty brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to Suite 57.
